Girl escaped abduction attempt, police say

A girl was the victim of an attempted abduction yesterday, authorities said. The 14-year-old girl was walking home from her bus stop about 3:15 p.m. when she was approached by two men in a white, full-size pickup truck, Falmouth police said. One of the men got out of the passenger side of the vehicle and attempted to force the girl into the truck, but the girl escaped after she bit his arm, police said. The two men were last seen fleeing north on East Falmouth Highway.
