One Bay State College student was robbed and another was the victim of an attempted abduction in two separate incidents yesterday afternoon, police said. Boston police spokesman David Estrada said that at about 2:30 p.m. an 18-year-old student was walking out of a Subway restaurant on St. James Street when he was robbed by a man armed with a knife. In a second incident, a 19-year-old student was walking near the intersection of Newbury and Berkeley streets at around 2:45 p.m. when she was approached by three men who said they were going to a party and asked her to join them, police and college officials said. One of the men grabbed her by the arm, Estrada said, but she was able to break free and fled.
