A 21-year-old soldier who grew up on Cape Cod has died in Afghanistan. US Army Private First Class Clinton E. Springer II, of Sanford, Maine, died in a noncombat incident in Kabul on Friday, the US Department of Defense said in a statement. The Army is investigating his death. (Full article: 707 words)
