For more than a month, Mary Madeleine Araujo sat in a sofa recliner. Her daughter, son-in-law, and three adult grandchildren came and went while the ailing 80-year-old woman developed infected cold sores, her toenails curled to the soles of her feet, and she sat in urine and feces, police said.
