FRAMINGHAM, Mass.—State police say a 29-year-old Framingham driver tried and failed to strike a grandfather and his grandson after the elderly man asked him to turn down is loud music and stop using foul language in Boston, triggering a police chase westbound on the Massachusetts Turnpike.
Several state police cars followed Alejandro Serra late Monday morning in the Framingham area before he lost control of his vehicle, crashed and was arrested after attempting to force his way through cruisers trying to box him in.
WBZ-TV showed the shirtless man running after crashing the vehicle and dropping to the ground. One trooper pulled his gun on the man, while a second punched him.
Serra is expected to be arraigned Tuesday in Boston Municipal Court on numerous charges including assault and battery.
State police said one trooper was hurt.
