
Mass. gas prices fall 2 cents to $2.62 a gallon

BOSTON—Gasoline prices in Massachusetts have fallen for the first time in 12 weeks.
AAA Southern New England reported Monday that the price of self-serve, regular unleaded gasoline fell by 2 cents this week to nearly $2.62 a gallon. That is just below the national average of $2.63.
The price jumped by nearly 99 cents since the year began.
The average price was $4.06 a year ago.
