For Benito Tauro, bringing the Padre Pio statue to Our Lady of Mount Carmel was an act of old-world faith such as has been practiced at the Italian National church for nearly a century. Tauro said he conceived the idea two years ago while awaiting a heart transplant his doctors said was the only way to save his life. (Full Article: 721 Words)
