A man suspected of killing three people in Puerto Rico was arrested by investigators in Worcester early this morning, the Worcester Telegram & Gazette reports.
Police said that as they investigated a recent non-fatal shooting they learned that one of their potential suspects was Luis Torres Flores, a 23-year-old man wanted in Puerto Rico for three killings.
Members of the Detective Bureau, Operations Division and Vice Squad worked on determining his whereabouts and eventually found him about 3:30 this morning at 57 Granite St., a police spokesman said.
Detectives had identified Flores as a possible suspect in the shooting of a 25-year-old man on Tuesday.
Flores has been charged with being a fugitive and is expected to be appear at Central District Court.
