Riley said Massa is not a student at the school.

The campus was under heightened security for the event, which included commencement speaker Gov. Deval Patrick.

Massa will be arraigned in Brighton District Court Monday, facing charges of disorderly conduct, carrying a firearm on school grounds, and violating the terms of his license to carry for hunting and target practice, which is a civil offense, according to the Boston Globe.

WHDH-TV News reporter Adam Harding reportedly spoke to Massa’s wife, who called the incindent a “misunderstanding.”
