The Greenway Mobile Eats 2014 season begins today, April 1 (no joke).
Thirty local food trucks will participate, the largest number of food truck vendors in the five years of Mobile Eats. There will be 15 new vendors this season, including Benny’s Crepe Café, Frozen Hoagies, Lobsterdog, Mother Juice, Renula’s Kitchen, Sweet Tomatoes, Stoked Pizza, Moyzilla dumplings, and Tenoch.

Those living in the Copley Square, Boston University, and Northeastern University areas will get another special treat as the mayor’s new late-night food truck pilot program also begins.
As part of the new initiative by Mayor Martin J. Walsh, food trucks in these three areas will stay open an extra hour (until midnight) on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
The trucks participating in the late-night pilot program are BBQ Lamb Brothers, Bon Me, Chicken and Rice Guys, Cookie Monstah, Frozen Hoagies, Mediterranean Home Cooking, Meng’s Kitchen, Stoked Pizza, Tea Station, and The Bacon Truck.
