Well, we did ask for spring.
Rain showers drenched the region this weekend, causing some urban flooding and sinkholes to appear. That precipitation is continuing all day today, but it will give way to sunny and dry conditions through the end of this week.
“Tuesday we’ll start seeing sunny skies and highs in the upper 40s,” said National Weather Service meteorologist Alan Dunham. “Compared to what we’ve been having it isn’t awfully bad, but normal for this time of year is 50 degrees.”
