The Wakefield Estate will host a vintage photograph-viewing event on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at which locals can catch a glimpse at what Milton looked like circa 1910. Milton resident Tim Kernan will show his grandmother’s photos taken around town just after the turn of the century, many of the properties along Brush Hill Road and near Paul’s Bridge and Fowl Meadow. Kernan is also hoping locals can help identify places in some of the photographs which are still a mystery to him, according to organizers. The event is part of a series hosted by the estate where locals sip homemade soup and listen to short presentations by featured speakers. Registration is required for this event.
