The public library is offering free workshops for job seekers every Wednesday at 2 p.m. The workshops, for those who are unemployed or underemployed, feature a different person each week offering guidance or help with a specific aspect of the job search. This Tuesday, professional photographer Courtney Lucas will provide free head shots to job seekers, suitable for LinkedIn profiles. On March 12, author Patricia Nolan-Brown will give a talk based on her book “Idea To Invention: What You Need To Know To Cash In On Your Inspiration.” On March 19, Deirdre Budzyna, a professor at Northern Essex Community College, will speak on “How To Outsmart Your Competition.” On March 26, certified health coach Sarah Dubois will discuss how to decrease stress during the job search. Networking opportunities are available after each talk. Those who would like to attend are asked to reserve a seat by calling 978-640-4490, ext. 205, e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org, or registering on the library’s online calendar at www.tewksburypl.org. The program is sponsored by the Friends of the Tewksbury Public Library.
