Three Emerson College students reported two separate assaults Friday night after they were involuntarily kissed by strangers, according to a statement from the college.
A student was riding the Red Line from the Central Square MBTA stop to Park Street around 11 p.m. Friday when an unknown passenger involuntarily kissed the student, according to Carole McFall, a spokeswoman for the college.
McFall said two other students reported a similar incident occurred while they were walking together on the Boston Common by Park Street Station.
The students told the Emerson College Police Department about the assaults around midnight Friday, the college said in a statement.
The students are safe and Emerson police have notified MBTA Transit Police, who are investigating the incidents, according to McFall.
The school did not release any additional details, including the gender of the students attacked.
