Canton man charged after drugs found in residence, police say

A 25-year-old Canton resident is being held on $15,000 cash bail on several drug-related charges, officials said.

On Tuesday, Canton police and a Metropolitan Law Enforcement SWAT team searched a residence at 15 Bayberry Road in Canton, police said. When officers entered the home, Christopher Moy, 25, ran into an upstairs bathroom, where members of the SWAT team later found him attempting to flush drugs down the toilet, police said.

Officers found quantities of cocaine and oxycodone, and two firearms, police said.
