The Carlisle Trails Committee has chosen the Estabrook Woods as the location for this year’s annual walk on the day after Thanksgiving. Highlights of the approximately two-hour walk will include the Estabrook and Kibbe cellar holes, lime quarries and lime kiln, Thoreau’s sawmill site, Mink Pond, and recent beaver activity. The walk begins Friday at 1 p.m. at Estabrook Road and Kibby Place; heavy rain would cancel the hike. For more information, contact Steve Tobin at email@example.com. or visit www.carlislema.gov.
