Voters will face a proposal for a new fire station at a special Town Meeting to be held Nov. 12. The $8.75 million proposal would cover all costs for the central fire station, including architectural design services, hiring a project manager, bidding for a bonding counsel, and constructing the facility. Selectmen changed the date of the meeting, originally scheduled for this month, to give officials time to examine the Town Building Study Committee’s proposal. The meeting will also take up minor accounting measures and budget transfers, including increasing the budget for the debt service on the North Carver Water District. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at Carver High School.
