Officials last week launched the Concord Conserves Campaign, a municipal workplace campaign designed to make it easier for town employees to adopt energy-saving practices. The effort was planned by a group of town workers representing each of the municipal buildings in town. It aims to reduce workplace energy use by 3 to 5 percent, helping the town move closer to achieving its goal of a 20 percent reduction in municipal energy consumption by July 1, 2015, compared with 2008 levels.
