The Reading Co-operative Bank Charitable Foundation has renewed its pledge to make live theater accessible and affordable for residents of the communities it serves — Reading, North Reading, Wilmington, Burlington, Andover, and Woburn — by making it possible for students in those towns to purchase tickets to any main stage or young company show at Stoneham Theatre, including the holiday classic “It’s a Wonderful Life,” for $3. “We want to reinvest in the youth in our communities and feel that it is important to expose them to the power of live theater, especially during a time when the arts are continuously being cut back,” said Reading Co-operative Bank president Julieann Thurlow. Stoneham Theatre producing artistic director Weylin Symes’s adaptation of “It’s a Wonderful Life” runs through Dec. 23.
