Town creates archive for all e-mails

Local officials have set up a system to archive all correspondence to and from the town’s e-mail accounts in accordance with the state public records law, according to Dover’s website. The town’s information technology support team is in the process of providing members of boards and committees with a public e-mail account. All correspondence involving these accounts will be archived permanently to make it easy for the town to comply with lawful public records requests.
