Register online for winter programs

The town’s Parks & Recreation Department begins online registration for winter programs on Dec. 3 at 8 a.m. This year's programs include senior recreational bowling, senior fitness and nutrition, zumba, burn'em boot camp, tai chi, and adult and senior men's basketball. Other programs include youth and teen tae kwon do and gymnastics, Tiny Tykes basketball, arts and crafts classes, and Lego groups. A baby-sitter training class is also featured for students in grades 6 through 8, covering such topics as infant and toddler care, safety and first aid including CPR, and how to handle emergencies. A registered nurse teaches the class as part of a partnership with the University of Massachusetts, and youths who complete the course will receive a certificate. A complete catalog of classes, sports offerings and events, and details about the online registration process are available at the department’s page on the town website, .
