Milton Town Meeting members approved a zoning article on Nov. 1 that allows Coulter Landscaping at 919 Blue Hill Ave. to continue operating as usual. The article amends the town’s zoning bylaws to include language defining a “landscaping” business and outlining how much of what type of equipment can be stored on the property. It was proposed by neighbors of the property after a variance granted to owner Tom Coulter was denied by the Massachusetts Land Court this year. Now that the article has passed, the Planning Board will issue a special permit for the business and the Coulter family, who live in a home on the property.
