Aging nuclear plants in New England

Amid the developing nuclear crisis in Japan, officials are taking a harder look at the aging nuclear power plants in New England as President Obama called for a safety review of all US nuclear plants on Thursday.
The Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth, the Seabrook Station Nuclear Power Plant in Seabrook., N.H., and the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Plant in Vernon, Vt., are all nearing the end of their licenses and have applied for renewal with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
