Details of the Amy Bishop case
Saying he had questions about the original investigation, Norfolk County District Attorney William R. Keating on Feb. 25 requested an inquest into the death of Seth Bishop, who Amy killed with a shotgun in 1986 in the family's Braintree home.
After the Alabama shootings, Keating released Braintree police records that had been missing for more than 20 years, saying Bishop could have faced charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, carrying a dangerous weapon, and unlawful possession of ammunition charges.
