HARTFORD, Conn.—Hartford police have released the names of a man whose body was found in a burning car and another man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting.

Authorities said Monday that 26-year-old Jeremy Williams of Hartford was shot several times before being found dead in a burning car on Pembroke Street on Feb. 17. The chief medical examiner's office helped identify the body.

No arrests have been made, and anyone with information is asked to call Hartford police.

Police also said they are looking for 28-year-old Akeem Pottinger in connection with the shooting death of 32-year-old Stephen Wynn of Hartford on Sargeant Street on Feb. 27.

Authorities are seeking to charge Pottinger with murder and other crimes, and they warn he should be considered armed and dangerous.
