The Kris Kringle Fair returns Saturday to the Unitarian Universalist Church of Reading, at Woburn Street and Summer Avenue. The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and will offer fine quality handcrafts and baked goods, children’s activities, and bargains in three buildings on the church campus. Overflow parking will be available at the nearby Parker Middle School; a free shuttle will transport shoppers to the church. “Attic Treasures,” the fair’s equivalent of a huge yard sale, will be housed in the church’s newly renovated Community Hall. Used books will fill the sanctuary and include titles for all ages; there will also be music CDs and recorded books for sale. Patrons will find handcrafted goods in the Boutique, and baked goods in Fellowship Hall. Also, a raffle and silent auction will feature antiques and collectibles.
