Gordon College is hosting a Family Adventure Day on Saturday. Most of the events take place on the college’s Wenham campus, with some at a satellite location in Gloucester. Families may participate in ropes challenge courses, canoeing and kayaking, rock climbing, and overnight camping. The event is being organized by students in the college’s recreation and leisure studies department, partnering with the college’s La Vida Center, which provides outdoor education programs for churches, schools, businesses, and youth organizations in New England and beyond. The cost is $25 per person for the first four people in a family, and $15 for each additional family member. Overnight camping costs an additional $10 per person and will conclude by 9 a.m. Sunday. The event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The rain date is May 7. For information or to register, call 978-867-4111 or visit www.gordon.edu/lavida/familyadventureday.
