I choose not to have air conditioning. Not because I’m trying to be environmentally correct or can’t afford to purchase one. I shun air conditioning because I want to feel the heat on my skin. I want to hear bicyclists zoom past my home. I want to wake up to the melodies of birds singing in my backyard. (Full article: 824 words)
