Runway lighting investigated in fatal plane crash

DARTMOUTH -- Investigators said yesterday that insufficient runway lighting was one of several factors they were studying as the cause of the crash of a single-engine plane that went down amid rain and fog as it tried to land at New Bedford Regional Airport Friday, killing all three people on board.
