IN HIS Nov. 22 letter " Marriage clash has a byproduct: gay bashing ," Donald Gorton, chairman of the Massachusetts Gay and Lesbian Anti-Violence Project, suggests that debating the issue of marriage equality can "embolden homophobes" to attack gays.
