School bus, garbage truck crash injures 2 in Mass.
CHARLTON, Mass.—Emergency workers say two people have been injured in a collision involving a school bus and a garbage truck in Charlton.
Charlton Fire Capt. Ed Knopf says school children were not among those who were injured in the crash Tuesday.
He says the injured were taken to hospital for treatment, and there was no immediate word on their condition.
A police dispatcher says an investigation is in progress and additional information was not immediately available.
Cindy Anderson of the Spencer East Brookfield Regional School District says the bus was carrying students its high school.
She says the students were all checked by a nurse and were allowed to go home.
