It’s almost impossible to get a ticket to the American Repertory Theater’s production of “All the Way.” For most of us, that is. The show, starring “Breaking Bad” star Bryan Cranston as President Lyndon Johnson, opened last week, and there were a few familiar faces in the audience, including Governor Deval Patrick and first lady Diane Patrick, actor Courtney B. Vance, ART founding director Robert Brustein, Pultizer Prize-winner Doris Kearns Goodwin, author of “Lyndon Johnson and the American Dream,” and husband Richard Goodwin, actress Annette O’Toole, whose husband Michael McKean costars in the play, Newbury Comics owner Mike Dreese, ART trustees Mike Sheehan, Rebecca Milikowsky, and Steven Johnson, and the company’s artistic director Diane Paulus. “All the Way” runs through Oct. 12.
