‘Pygmalion’ reboot continues filming in the Public Garden

“The Bourne Ultimatum” actress Julia Stiles was in the Public Garden on Monday filming more scenes for her Hallmark Hall of Fame movie, “The Makeover.” Joining her was David Walton, a Boston-bred actor who plays Elliot Doolittle, a messy guy from Southie who cleans up nice (see above) and runs for office with the help of Stiles’s character, Hannah Higgins. Hallmark Hall of Fame says that, yes, the plot is loosely based on George Bernard Shaw’s “Pygmalion.” Walton’s resume includes the Christina Aguilera movie “Burlesque,” the sitcom “Happy Endings,” and the short-lived television series “Perfect Couples.”
