Is It Mexican Pizza? No, It's Nachos Italiano

Philip Frattaroli, the owner of Ducali Pizzeria & Bar in Boston's North End, said he made a version of this snack when he attended Boston College. Here's his recipe:

-Pita Chips
-Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
-Salami slices, torn apart
-Hot Cherry Peppers, sliced

Put wax paper on a cookie sheet (or if using a microwave, simply use a plate). Put down one layer of pita chips. Add mozzarella cheese on top and then some salami slices. You can put down an additional layer of each. And then top with hot cherry peppers.

Bake in a microwave oven, toaster oven or regular oven until cheese melts.
