Watermelon chunks dissolve into a light, refreshing cocktail in this specialty drink called the Sandia. It was created by Sarah Baker, bar manager at Towne Stove and Spirits in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood. Here's her recipe:
-2 oz. Crop Cucumber Vodka
-1 oz. Simple syrup
-5 pieces, 1"x1”, Watermelon
-1 Wheel of cucumber
Shaken with ice and poured into a martini glass. Garnish with cucumber.
