A 78-year-old woman crashed her car into the Wollaston MBTA Red Line station this morning, pinning a man against a wall, authorities said.
The woman entered the parking lot from Woodbine Street. It appears she may have suffered a medical emergency. Her car became wedged in the entrance doors, striking a 57-year-old man, MBTA Transit Police said.
After the crash, the woman was unconscious and stuck in her vehicle. CPR was performed on the woman, and both she and the man were transported to Quincy Medical Center, a Quincy Fire Department dispatcher said.
The extent of the man and woman’s injuries are unknown at this time, Transit Police said.
No one inside the T station was injured, T spokesman Joe Pesaturo said.
Red Line service was not affected, Pesaturo said.
