A 30-year-old man was shot and killed in a Worcester barbershop Friday night, according to a Worcester Police press release. No arrest has been made, and the identity of the victim had not been released as of 3 p.m. Saturday.
According to police, the victim had an argument in the barbershop with another male, who shot the victim in the chest. He was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital, where he died shortly after arrival, police said.
At around 5:36 p.m. Friday, police responded to Fadeaway Barbershop on 42 Chandler St., to a report of shots being fired. Police said they arrived at the crime scene and observed the business was in darkness with no employees inside of it.
The vehicle where the victim was transported to the hospital was impounded by police, and they are working on identifying a suspect, police said.
