A 55-year-old Connecticut woman was released on personal recognizance after being charged with assaulting her daughter at her wedding in Sudbury, officials said.
Leslie Duane, of West Haven, was arraigned Wednesday in Framingham District Court on a charge of assault and battery, said Middlesex district attorney’s spokeswoman Stephanie Guyotte.
Duane is due back in court Dec. 6 for a pretrial hearing, said Guyotte.
Duane was arrested Sunday during the daughter’s wedding at the Arabian Horse Inn in Sudbury. Duane had been drinking and hit her daughter, Guyotte said.
Reached at her Connecticut home this afternoon, Duane had no comment.
