Natick firefighters battle four-alarm fire that began in garage of home

A four-alarm fire in Natick injured one person today, Natick police said.

The fire station received a call at 1:46 p.m. for a fire starting in the garage of a home on Pleasant Street, Natick Police Lieutenant Brian Grassey said.

The person injured, whose name is not being released, did not have life threatening injuries, Grassey said.

The fire began when equipment in the garage struck a power line, Grassey said.

The fire station called for extra man power due to the heat of the blaze, Grassey said.

At around 4:24 p.m. thunderstorms passed over the scene of the fire, Grassey said.
