Person struck and killed by commuter train in Kingston

A male was killed today when he was struck by a commuter train in Kingston, according to the MBTA.

The male, who was trespassing on the tracks by Summer Street, was hit by the train just before 10 a.m., said MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo.

Eleven passengers aboard the train were bused to the next station, said Pesaturo.
