Police are looking for a man who tried to rob a 17-year-old female who is 6 months pregnant in Dorchester early Saturday morning and, when she refused to hand over her belongings, stabbed her in the arm.
The teen told police she was on the phone with her boyfriend en route to his house around 2:15 a.m. Saturday when she noticed a man following her from Dorchester Avenue down Dracut Street, Boston police said in a statement.
“Yo, run your pockets,” the suspect said, threatening her with a knife, according to the report.
When she said she would not give him her things, the suspect stabbed her upper left arm at least twice, police said.
She was taken to Boston Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The teen described the suspect as a black male in a green hoodie pulled over his head and jeans. He is about 5 feet, 2 inches tall and has a “young face,” according to police.
