Couldn’t get enough of Wednesday’s 55-degree weather? You’re in luck: After today, there’s more on the way.
Periods of light rain showers during the morning commute and around noon will accompany highs in the upper 40s and mostly cloudy skies, National Weather Service meteorologist Bill Simpson said. Temperatures will drop overnight, with lows at or below freezing in the city and high 20s in the outer suburbs.
Friday, expect another nice day with partly sunny skies and temps in the low 50s, Simpson said.
Saturday and Sunday will be much of the same, with Boston’s highs expected to reach 52 and 53 degrees, respectively, and partly sunny skies. On Sunday, clouds will stream in during the afternoon as showers roll into the region for the evening, wrapping up around midnight.
The fair weather will hold on one more day Monday, as highs will reach the low to mid-50s, with 56 degrees forecasted for Boston, paired with mostly cloudy skies.
Cool air is expected to move in again Tuesday and Wednesday, Foley said, bringing lots of sunshine but coolish temperatures in the mid-40s.
