A motorist making an illegal left turn hit an MBTA trolley late this morning, briefly causing delays on the B branch of the Green Line, T officials said.
The car made contact with an outbound trolley at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Greycliff Street just before 11 a.m. The accident was minor and no one was injured, said T spokesman Joe Pesaturo.
“Very few” people were on the train at the time, he said. Police cited the driver for making an illegal left turn. The intersection is roughly two blocks from the Boston College station.
Normal service resumed by noon, the MBTA website reported.
