Breaking up is hard to do. Especially if it happens in the form of being dumped, right before Valentine's Day. (Blah! WTF? Ugh.)

Relationship expert Terri Trespicio knows—because it's happened to her before. And as she acknowledges, and anyone else who's been through it knows, it sucks. But it doesn't have to ruin your weekend.

I've sung Terri's praises in previous posts, and for good reason: she doesn't BS. She has a whole archive of blog posts worth checking out here, plus a steady social media following. (She's also written for the likes of Marie Claire, Glamour, Whole Living and O, Oprah magazine, so the woman knows what she's talking about.)

Readers, how do you fare with ill-timed breakups? Share your stories and tips in the comments below.
