Whoa Nelly!! What is this???!!!!
By now, we've all seen the #hotchristmasjammiesmom and family pseudo-twerking through the neighborhood in their from-undies, but after reading a bit more about them, I learned about daddy’s group vasectomy.
Yes, you read that right. WT[x] <-- insert preferred expletive letter here.
As the proud Dad of three short creatures myself, I too would projectile vomit at the sight of an X on that life-altering pee stick again in my lifetime but I’m also not sure I’m feeling the brotherly love that these guys seem to share. I mean seriously – my friends and I are close, but not THAT close.
This is not a conversation I see myself having:
“Hey guys! I’ve got a great idea. Let’s all go to the urologist’s office just before the Pats game on Sunday and let them shove 3 long needles into our groins. The best part is that we can record the actual ‘snip’ sound on our iPhones so we can share it on Facebook. And then we can head on over to my place and sit on my couch with bags of frozen peas on our crotches and drink beer. Teamwork! ”
I’m all for family planning and would certainly consider the snip if that was what my wife and I decided but I don’t see this as an overly attractive male bonding exercise. Heck, if that’s your take on a boys’ weekend, you’re missin’ out my friends.
Going forward, I guess I’ll have to clarify my invites to my friends:
"Come on over on Sunday for some BBQ, beer, and football. No snipping required."
What do you think? Do you consider group vasectomies a good male bonding experience? It is something you would do?
