Me by the numbers (again)

I got an e-mail the other day from a frequent reader of this blog asking me how things were coming along weight-loss wise. I know I write a lot about running (mostly because it's hard and something I never thought I could do in a million years). But many of you have said you wanted another tally of my fitness progress.

Your wish is my command; however, I do have to be very honest and admit that these are some of the harder posts to write because looking back on where I started is not fun.

Also, I should note that I am not done. I have said in this blog before: I'm trying to be fit and healthy. I'm not aiming for a pants size or a number on a scale. Therefore, I am a work-in-progress. So, that means you're stuck with me for a while longer!

Let's get to the numbers, shall we?

Height: 5' 0" (sadly not any taller. Will always be a stump.)
Pounds lost: 51 to date
Distance I could run when I started the blog: Not even a mile. Now: 10+
Jeans size then: 16 Now: 4
Running pace I started at: 15 min/mile Now: 10
Number of push-ups I could do: 10 Now: 50
Average steps a day before: 5,000 Now: Averaging 12,000
Sets of sneakers I've worn out: 3
Miles I've run/jogged since starting the blog: 1,519.33 miles (tracked via Fitbit)
Servings fruits/veggies a day then: Less than 3 Now: 3 or more (I track this using Lose It)
Plank A Day time when I started: 30 seconds Now: 3 minutes
BMI then: 33.8 BMI now: 25.7 (within striking distance of "normal")
