The nat queen cool at Hi-Rise Bread Co. adds so much to the sometimes tired Cuban sandwiches you find elsewhere, it could convert you to a regular at its Huron Village bakery and cafe. The roasted pulled pork has great texture, the avocado is creamy, the cilantro fresh-tasting, and the tomatoes and onions add depth. Two ingredients clinch the deal: harissa, which balances the flavorful fat of the pork, and the spectacular grilled slices of the bakerys Concord loaf, a mild sourdough bread, keeping it all together.
