These youngsters are planting a garden at the Early Learning Center East in Dorchester in collaboration with The Campus Kitchen at UMass Boston. It's a salsa garden, growing tomatoes, hot peppers, and onions for lots of hot sauce this summer.
This garden, run in part by volunteers, is part of the national Campus Kitchens Project, which supports community programs across the country that feed those in need.
