Two beer events this weekend: Bukowski Tavern and Olde Magoun's Saloon

Bukowski Tavern in Inman Square, Cambridge is hosting a ridiculously sick Goose Island Tap takeover on Thurs., Jan. 31st (that's tonight!). The bar will be tapping the following Goose Island Beers:

Pere Jaques
Big John Ale
Coffee Bourbon County Stout (tapping 8 at p.m.)
Night Stalker
Naughty Goose

-- Olde Magoun's Saloon in Somerville is hosting a Weihenstephan Brewery tap takeover all month, with beer tastings on Fri., Feb. 1 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Thurs., Feb. 7 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The beers being poured are:

Hefe-Weissbier Dunkel
Kristall Weissbier
Original Lager
White Hoplosion

Established in 1040 in a small town just outside of Munich, Weihenstephan is the oldest continuously operating brewery in the world.
