If you're out and about this weekend and want to enjoy some craft beer, there are two events locally that may interest you.

On Friday, July 27 (tonight!) at 6:30 p.m., Del Frisco's and Samuel Adams Brewery will host a four-course dinner. Executive Chef Derek Barragan will pair a summer menu with five Samuel Adams beers: Summer Ale, American Kriek, Boston Lager, 13-hour Stout, and Black Lager. The cost is $85.00 per person.

To make a reservation, call 617-345-3941. For more information, go here.

-- Another fun event is what has become an summer pastime at the Cambridge Brewing Company. The Striped Bass Festival takes place on Sat. July 28 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. It's not a beer dinner per se, but there will be pairings like these:

Chorizo, Corn & Striper Chowder
Westminster Crackers & Chives
Hop Bomb Pale - Cask-conditioned Tall Tale w/Nelson Sauvin and Centennial hops

Brandywine Tomato Terrine
Striper Ceviche
Into The White – Belgian-style Witbier

All items are available paired or a la carte. Reservations are not required but are accepted for groups of six or more. No cover, no tickets.

Go here for more information.
